Who Am I?

I’m not an abused child,

I’m not the son of an alcoholic,

I’m not a suicide survivor,

I’m not a substance user,

I’m not anxious,

I’m not depressed,

I’m not a diagnosis,

I’m not a treatment plan,

I’m not a patient,

I’m not a client,

I’m not billable hours,

No, I am a child of God.

I am created in the very image of the great I Am.

And I am beautiful.
